Georgea Hughes is Programme Manager at The Wood Foundation. She comments on the cancellation of the 2020 summer placement and our ongoing commitment to the GLP network.
“The global pandemic has unfortunately left us with no choice but to cancel the 2020 summer placement for GLP. While we expected this outcome for some time, it is undoubtedly disappointing.
“However, we are committed to our latest cohort and our wider network. We will continue to work with them and investigate viable options for 2021. We hope to organise a group event to kickstart their professional learning journey with GLP.
“The role of global education and Learning for Sustainability has never been more important and we will continue to amplify our inspirational network of alumni through our social media channels.”
